Garfield, a lazy, selfish, and grumpy cat, lives a carefree life at his owner Jon's house. However, after Jon brings home a dog named Odie, Garfield's peace is disrupted. Garfield dislikes the newcomer intensely and starts to get jealous, bullying him, and ultimately, his selfish behavior causes Odie to get lost in the city. Feeling guilty about Odie's disappearance, Garfield decides to search the city and bring him back home. Meanwhile, Odie gets caught by a TV producer, and Jon, along with his girlfriend Liz, are also looking for him. Garfield tries to find Odie by any means...
